A coming-of-age series navigating a brain tumour diagnosis and ongoing hormonal therapy. Eden's journey through land and water seeks solace within places that have shaped her, questioning 'home', identity and truth. A ritual of hope.

 

Child of the River is a collection of landscape imagery, self-portraiture, and lumen prints exploring of the places Eden has lived and the meanings she attaches to them.

 

Creating threads between her experiences in Cornwall and her childhood home in Wiltshire, Eden draws together a coming-of-age project that questions the construct of 'home'.

 

Forging new connections between self and place, she begins to uncover dualities between herself and her sister, land and sea, freshwater and seawater.
